Aloo Kachori
Jai Shri Krushna,
Aloo Kachori is conventional Kalewa from Uttar Pradesh . These stuffed Kachories at delight to the kids and elders alike. Let us prepare at home with purity and full devotion for our Little Krushna. Rememberance is the most special ingredient in any preparation – so in Pushtimarg we use the as samagari ko siddh karna.
Ingredients
- 2 Big Boiled Potatoes
- 1. Green Chilli Chopped
- 1 inch ginger grated
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped coriender leaves
- Salt to taste
- Ghee for deep frying
- 2 Cups Wheat Flour
- 1/2 Cup Samolina /Sooji
- Some water.
Preparation Method
Mix the flour and add 2 tbs of Ghee as maun and knead a dough of Roti consistency. Allow it to stand.
Peal and mash the boiled potatoes mixing all the green masala, salt and make round balls.
Heat the Ghee in a Kadhai for deep frying.
Make round ball of Roti size and roll a little to fill the Potato stuffing. Close and cover the Potato ball .
Lightly roll the Kachori and fry in hot ghee.
Remember if the Ghee is not hot , the Kachori will give way and break.
Seive it out on a tissue paper.
Cool and offer with a tulsi dal and a big smile to Lord Shri Krushna .
