Sooji Ka Sheera – Halwa
Sooji / Rava, is the easiest and quickest preparation for prasad samagri. Shree Thakurji likes it too. A nourishing , healthy , good in winters , sweet preparation.
- Sooji / Rava – 1 cup.
- Milk – 2 cups
- Sugar – 1/2 cup.
- Dry fruits – almonds, resins, cashews, cardamom powder.chironji.
- Ghee – 2 table spoons.
- Heat the ghee, add the sooji and roast till light pink in colour. Add preboiled milk. Stir constantly to avoid lump formation. As the milk is about to dry add sugar and mix again properly.Add the chopped dry fruits and washed resins, cardamom powder. Mix well. The seera is ready.
- Takeout in small silver bowl, serve a small portion and garnish with a sprig of Tulsi leaf…..serve Thakurji with lots of love and plead him to have it….Pujya Rushivar says HE is very shy so you will have to request Him to have this humble preparation.
