Vegetable Beaten Rice

Beaten Rice is commonly known as Poha . These are healthy and light as breakfast snack for Children and Old alike.


  • 1 cup soaked Poha
  • 1 cup chopped Carrots, Capsicum , Tomatos ,Potatoes, Green Peas.
  • 1tsp. Coriander chopped
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Mustard seeds for seasoning
  • curry leaves.
  • salt to taste.
  • 1/4 tsp termeric powder.
  • Ghee / Oil .

Preparation Method

Heat a pan and add Ghee and mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add the chopped veggies , salt and termeric and cook till slightly done.

Add the soaked Poha and mix well , now add lemon juice and coriander leaves.

Serve the bowl for Shri Thakurji with Tulsi leave.
