A doodhghar samagri, for both summers and winters and easy to prepare. A favourite of Shree Thakurji.



  • Milk- 3litres
  • Sugar -400gms
  • Pistachio chopped -20gms
  • Kesar / Saffron threads a pinch.
  • Cardamom powder.

Preparation Method

  • Boil  milk in a kadhai. Reduce to low heat and stir continously until 900ml approximatelyand acquires a granular consistency.Remove from fire, add sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.Cool, remove to a bowl, garnish with pistachio nuts chopped and kesar strands, Cardamom [ ilaichi powder] . Takeout hot and serve to Shree Thakurji, mind it is not too hot .


  • Refrigerate and Serve chilled in summer…
